The Acer Aspire Series refers to Acers range of PC's aimed at the casual householder or for small business useage. The Aspire series covers both desktop and laptop form factors. Acer Aspire One is Acer's responce to the popular Asus EEE.
The Acer Aspire 4520 comes fully equipped with standard features eg 1.3 mega-pixel camers, a duel core processor, a DVD writer and graphics card, it also has a free Linus loperating system.It keeps it's costs down by not having Windows XP/Vista operating systems.

Acer Incorporated is a Taiwanese multinational electronics manufacturer.
Acer Inc owns the largest franchised computer retail chain in Taipei, Taiwan.
Acer is the third largest computer manufacturer in the World (by sales) after HP and Dell Inc and it's product line-up includes desktops and mobile PC's (laptops) as well as personal digital assistants (PDA's), servers, storage displays, peripherals and e-business services for businesses, government, education and home users.
Acer was founded by Stan Shih and his wife Carolyn Yeh and five others back in 1986, it's original name was Multitech and was re-named Acer in 1987. The Company started with just US$25,000 capital and eleven employees.
In January 2008 Acer announced that it had acquired a controlling interest of 75% of Packard Bell.
